Since I started using the flat iron it seems like my hair is breaking off more and not growing as fast - probably from heat damage. I use oil and a flat iron spray but I am not sure it really protects my hair.

Why is it, something that makes your hair look so good is so bad for it? They make heat protector sprays but I'm not sure how great they work! The only one I've ever tried is by Tresseme and I didn't see a difference!

Oh I know what you mean. That happened to me then I went to a REGIS Saloin and they were amazing. Most of the time hair stylists who don't have curly hair don't know how to straighten hair, But the lady that I went to this time was awesome and my hair felt great and STRAIGHT at the end. Not damaged and broken like it usually felt. I asked her what stuff she used on me before she started flat ironing and it was this product from Matrix called Flat Iron Spray It's so nice I'm in love with it. I def Recommend trying it!

Stop using flat irons.. flat iron probably can damage your hair.. I'm not using it..
