What is a good heat protection product for my hair before blowdrying it?

something that's light, not heavy that i can just put on before blowdrying my hair and not have to worry about washing again the next day (i wash my hair every other day) because it's too much.

i don't want my hair to feel dirty and really weighed down because i have a crappy heat protecting spray, cream or w/e. like if i use hairspray, seasalt spray, gel or w/e i'll have the wash my hair the same night, get it? so can you guys recommend something of that sort for me?

like anti flatt, anti frizz, straighten up

lots of stuff

i use straighten up, it works good.

just when using hair product, dont overdo it or your hair will look greasy.

and stay away from applying it on your roots and that area!

John Frieda Frizz Ease Thermal Protection, in a little orange bottle is a good protector. And actually I use a little bit of Tresemme Straightening Heat Protection Gel, a small amount with the serum and I found it doesn't make my hair feel greasy or anything if I don't overdo it.

If you think your hair is a little greasy, take some baby powder to the roots of your hair and fluff it a little, if that makes sense (I guess you could say rub it in). The baby powder absorbs oil and gets you through an extra day.

I use Biolage leave-in conditioner/heat protecting spray. It's a little expensive, but it is good. I have to wash my hair every day, so I'm not sure how it would work for you. But if you have an extra $16 or so, I would pick it up.
