Frizzy hair?

Ok so my hair was originally in terrible condition due to improper care but after taking care of it , it is now soft and shiny but the thing is it is still frizzy . It's frizzy right after I straighten my hair . I straight my hair now 3 times a week and wash my hair every other day . But for reason reason after I straighten it for the first day it's so frizzy and staticy! It feels smooth and is shiny but i can't seem to tame the frizzy hair . I use a cream to protect my hair from heat damage when straightening it and i no longer blow dry my hair , air dry. After I straighten it though I use a leave in conditoner lotion and spray . The lotion seems to keep some of it down when I first apply it but a little while after I look into the mirror to see such a ball of static hair ! The next day after though when my natural oils have built up my hair looks fine but for the first day I can't seem to keep the hair down . Is there any solution for this?

Frizzy hair?

Hi!

Make sure you wash your hair twice REALLY WELL with a good shampoo (Pantene is my favourite, and has a shampoo for every type of hair)! And then once with a conditioner. Leave it in for 3-5 minutes. Then RINSE SO WELL!

I wash my hair every 3rd or 4th day. (Shower every day) Too much water dries it out and takes from its natural oils.

I find I can only straighten my hair or blowdry it once or twice a month. More than that and I get a huge ball of mess as well.If possible, the best thing for your hair is not blowdrying/straightning it... Just leaving it natural!! You'll find you'll get much better results most of the time!

If you straighten it and just leave it flying and being free, it won't tame properly. Try to tie it back nicely for a few hours then take it out. By then it will be nice and hassle free.

Also, try not to put your hands in your hair alot....Oils from your hands are bad for your hair!!

I have the same problem with my hair also....especially in the winter months. Try ( as weird as this may sound ) very lightly spraying the same "non-static spray" that you use on your clothes on to your hair after you style it. It doesn't damage your hair and doesn't dull your natural shine either. So far its helped my super natural curly and frizzy locks.

Good Luck and I hope it helps.

the best way to tame your frizzy hair is treating it with eggs and olive oil. beat one egg with 3-4 tblsp of olive, massage it to your hair and wrap it in a towel or shower cap for 25 mins. rinse and shampoo well. the protein from the egg will make your hail healthy and the olive oil will make it shiny and smooth. try this everytime youwash your hair. curly frizzy haired women use mayo but it has other ingredients/flavorings that will make you want to eat your hair! lol :)

Frizzy hair?

do you put product in your hair? if not that may be the answer, something light and malleable should help you out. i think this question should be best answered by the person who cuts your hair (i hope they work in a salon).

The REAL way to solve the frizz is by undergoing a sort of chemical staightening process. rebonding perhaps was the best invention of the millenium, it does not only streightens, but totally eliminates frizzes even if u go to humid places.

treatments, serums, gel, mousses, balms etc are temporary fixes. Once youre exposed to humidity, all hard work done is back to zero.

GoodLuck!
