How do i curl my hair?

For loose curls like this, try using medium and large rollers. you want to first treat your hair with a curling spray/gel(I like fructise best) and dry it good. You can do this with clean or a night before wash. Try not to use to heavy of a conditioner though as it will weight your hair down and be harder to hold a curl. The type of rollers you want you can buy at any pharmacy or health and beauty store. They look like they have velcro on them. You want your hair to be completely dry. Wrap your whole head in the curlers and keep in anywhere from 45-60 mins. (Wrapping your whole head will help give you the volume to do the front). After you take the rollers out, you want to separate the curls very carefully(a rat-tail comb works the best) and then style the front by teasing it starting right after the part, and then clasping loosely with a fancy barrette or a ponytail holder( to hide the pony tail holder, wrap a small section of hair around it and pinning with a bobby pin). You can touch up any of the curls with a big barrel curling iron. Let the curls 'fall' a little, say 15-20 mins., or whenever you decide you like the way they look, and then spray all over with a 'moveable' hairspray( try 'aussie' or 'fructise' brands for the best results). Also, you can just fix the front first and the use a big barrel curling iron to do the rest although it takes longer and you arms get tireder faster. When using a curling iron, you want to take the piece of hair you want curled and wrap it around the barrel starting at the roots, try not to pull the hair through the iron cause it can stretch and cause breakage to the hair.
