My hair and bangs are damaged and dried - help!?

I have been highlighting and dying my naturally dark blonde hair light yellow/platinum blonde from a salon for 6 years. Five months ago I decided to dye it all light brown myself. A month and a half later decided to bleach my hair blonde by myself. This lasted for another month and a half until it grew out and I dyed my hair myself back to brown. The brown kept on fading and the bleach was coming through and I decided to just go back to the salon and get highlights about a week ago. By this time my hair had been undyed for 2 months and was healthy, %26amp; shiny. Since I got the highlights a week ago my hair has been dried out and my bangs are fried! I bought a deep conditioning cream and leave in conditioner from Sunsilk and sheer blonde conditioning spray by John Freida but it doesnt seem to work! I'm planning on getting my hair cut to get rid of my split, dried ends but I can't cut the damaged part of my bangs off because they are too short. Does anyone have any suggestions??

A generous oil application and massage is recommended before washing the hair. Frequent shampooing is harmful for dry hair. Sometimes lack of nutrients can also cause dry brittle hair. Take a multivitamin and mineral supplement on a daily basis. Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.

I would try some aphrogee, is good for damaged hair and you should see results in like 6 weeks. They have it at sallys.

You need to stop coloring immediately and start doing weekly hot oil treatments. You can do this one at home.

Take one large avocado, two tablespoons olive oil, and two tablespoons mayonaise and one tablespoon honey

Cut open the avocado and scoop out the green flesh, mix with all ingredients until it has a paste like consistency.

Apply to hair (avoid face to avoid breakouts) and cover with either a hot towel or shower cap. Keep on for 30 minutes. Then, rinse hair well and wash with a creamy shampoo (NOT CLARIFYING) and condition as usual. I am sure you'll see results in 3 weeks.
