What's your opinion on these hair products?

I have dry scalp and so my hair looks dry but it doesn't feel dry or itch dry. I want that silky, smooth, and def SHINY hair.I decided to go with Garnier Fructis. But I have african american ethnic hair, so I don't wash my hair for school in the morning and I just want to apply something to my hair to give it that shine, something I can leave-in, not a conditioner. More like a spray.

I was wondering what products do you have that work best for your hair?

Do you think I should use it because of my hair type?

Is Garnier good?

And should I try something different and what should I use if you don't think so?

You should try Nexxus Sleektress shampoo and Hydra Sleek conditioner. Paul Mitchell also has a Super charge moisturizing conditioner that works miracles. I also have dry scalp, but it only happens when its near the time for me to wash! Nexxus Humctress is awesome too! You're African American like me, I use to get tips from this lady that did my hair years ago and its funny I just spoke with her today. i use garnier myself and i love it, it smells good and it does wonders for my hair but i also love and ardor AUSIE its the purple shampoo bottle u know put some roo in your doo ever saw the commercial the hello hydration shampoo works rele well i use it because i straighten my hair and it takes out the dryness

I have this paul mitchell oil stuff that's kinda like lotion for your hed and hair....it's kinda expensive though but it really works!

Leave that Garnier alone....even when you do have tracks in you still gotta take care of your real hair. To get the shine that you want a simple oil sheen will work. Personally i like Olive Oil its an organic root stimulator as well so while its leaving your hair smooth and shiny it acts as an oil for your scalp (that will help with the dryness) You can pick it up at basically any store like Walmart or something, but it will be easiest to get it from a beauty supply store. I've tried Garnier Fructis for the same reasons you have, and honestly, my scalp went nuts. What I use instead is Pantene Relaxed and Natural or Always Smooth.

I use a tourmaline flat iron and used to need leave-in products to prevent my hair from drying out because of the heat.

With the Pantene shampoo and conditioner, I don't use leave in products anymore, except for maybe a little Pantene Texturize styling gel to keep the shape.
