Does hairspray damage your hair?????

I'm i a guy and I use lot of hairspray. I've heard it damages your hair. Is this true? I put water in my hair, mixed with hair putty, then I get it in the position I want, then I spray the hairspary and flatten it out wih wax. I use about 15-25 squirts. Is that to much? I've been using hairspray since I was in the 1st grade and my hair has'nt fell out yet. I wash my hair everday, does that help.? Will my hair ever fall out? What if it does fall out, what can I do to make it look like I have hair?

First of all, if your hair is longer than one inch, the hair after that inch is dead. So if you are worried about hurting your hair, it's already dead. I don't see how you could hurt it more. Second of all, you should worry more about a healthy scalp, since that's where the roots of your hair reside. Healthy scalp = healthy hair. However, though your hair is dead, you don't want split ends. I would suggest a conditioner that strengthens your hairs cells. If you are worried about your hair falling out, take a gander at your dad. Chances are if he has hair, you'll have hair for quite a while.

It may just dry you're hair out, but it won't damage it. It's just a coating that sits on top of the hair...

You really use that much??? Ewwwww.. that is gross.... no girl will want to run her hands through you're hair... ease up on the spray dude!!!!
