hehe girlfriends..

no matter what product you use on your hair, your straightener will find a way to damage it

sooo... first of all get a ghd because they tend to do less damage

try to straighten your hair as little as possible

use conditioners and shampoos that are designed to help damaged hair (it will say it on the bottle)

there is the option of permanently straightening your hair which can be done by a hairdresser but it's really bad for your hair and if you take this route i suggest you wait for your hair to recover fully from damage or your hair could snap off (happened to my mom)

another thing

do you like your hair straight?

if not then don't get bossed around by your gf because she should like you for who you are and all that crap

Don't use too much spray as due to the chemicals you may go bald. Also use a good conditioner. Also these days you get many natural products in the market. For a long term effect why don't you try permanent straightening.

hi, i have read that brycream is the best on other sites, use it on damp/wet hair just the size of a pea to start with you nmay need more depending on your length of hair and then blow dry, there have been great reports on this and it it great in damp weather conditions, by.

You need to keep your hair in good condition when you use straighteners as they can really damage your hair. Using a deep conditioner could help it get into a better condition. I think you should use it about once a week to keep it in good condition but I'm not positive about that, it usually says on the product how often to use it. Keep using the protective spray too as this helps. You can also buy de-frizz products that will help with the frizziness.

hope this helps.

You can straighten it, then the morning before you wash it, put coconut oil in your hair overnight.

Still use heat defence though.

yes, you should use conditioneer. However, the best way to help your hair is stop straightening them with an iron. There are some natural ways, like this one: Wash and condition hair.

* Blot dry. Hair should be almost dry when you begin.

* Gather up hair into several sections and secure or clip hair on top of your head. You will be drying the bottom layers first.

* Follow the brush (with your dryer) down the sections of hair as you straighten each section and be sure to keep the dryer moving.

* Take down a new section of hair and procede as directed above.

* Work your way up the layers until all sections are dried and straightened.

* To curl the ends for a polished look, take your brush and pull the ends under. Finish your styling with a blast of cool air if your hairdryer has this capability.

Use a professional moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

Use a moisturizing serum and a thermal protectant prior to applying heat. Use the serum after styling is finished.

If you use cheap stuff from a grocery store...it will eventually buildup on the hair and that's what your seeing and feeling in your hair when you apply the heat to it. It will eventually come to a point where the only thing you can do it cut off the damage.

Professional products are designed to reinforce the structural integrity of the hair....impart mositure and shine....and protect it from as much damage as possible. There is a reason it's a little more expensive....but for the results...in the long run it's way cheaper to use it.

Loma hydrating shampoo and conditoner

Paul Brown Hawaii Booster ( thermal protectant)

Loma Peratin serum...( one drop of this liquid gold and your hair will never feel the same again...;)
