Will Dark Gold Hair Turn Blond ???

I have Goldish color hair will it turn blonde with a box dye??? The reason my hair is Gold is because I have been using sun-in (the spray in , when you sit in the sun it makes your hair blonder) and now it turned gold (Before i started using sun-in my hair was brown). The only reason i was using it was because i wanted to get my hair lighter for when i dye it blonde . I no i have to use box dye with bleach in it , so will it turn blonde when i dye it???

PS: Do you know any really good box dyes with bleach in it?

Your hair will turn blonde with box color. However, it will probably not be the same shade as you find on the box. Using Sun-In caused your hair to unveil its undertones, as Sun-In is weak and does not have the same lifting power as color developer. If you want a true, natural blonde, you would need to get a color that is blue or violet based. That is next to impossible to discern from the box alone. If you can't get to a professional colorist, and must use box color, look for something that says "cool" as far as tone. Warm blonde color will give you a brassy look. As far as color with bleach in it, color is color, bleach is bleach. The two are not mixed together- especially for home use. Be careful, box colors contain metallic salts which deposit on hair and affect professional color. Good luck!
