Hair help!! poffy wavy hair troubles?

ok, so when i wash my hair i use john frieda straight ahead shampoo and conditioner, then after i use the frizzease spray...at first when its starting to dry my hari looks like its going to stay straight but then a little while after it goes wavy and poof then if i starighten it when it is wavy and poof it stays straight for a little while but as soon as like wind or something gets at it just a little, it goes like it was before...does anyone know of a different brand of shampoo and conditioner, or any other products that would help? i dont know what you need to know so um i have brunette colored hair, and its shiny already so i dont need something to make it shine or softer...but i really need something to keep my hair straight and smooth and non-poof...HELP!

I'm no hair expert but i think you should use the John Frieda curly shampoo and conditioner. it would probably work well with you hair. Curly hair is really pretty, who knows you might like it. If that does not work i would use a hair straightner or get your hair chemical relaxed at a hair salon. Good luck!!

What you should do is when your done straightening your hair put in spray so it would stay locked in. If that doesn't work try staying out of the wind.

well first of all besides the products you are using, what are you actually doing to straighten it? Blow dry? Flat Iron? Because that has a lot to do with it! I would get The Chi Flat iron, that should keep it super straight.

Use L'Oreal Studio Line Heat Seeker and then the iron.

(l'oreal heat seeker is great) GHD is the best iron but CHI is cheaper they both work awesome

well paul mitchell has some good lines of stuff! there firm hold. while your hair is wet apply the mouse. then u blow dry STRAIGHT! when u flat iron u have to flat iron in little sub sections u cant just grab a chunk of hair and shove it on there. u have to take your time so the heat applies evenly throught the hair!

they also h ave there super skinny serum! works great after u flat iron apply that! makes ur hair shiny and smothes your fly aways and smells good!

but go to a local beauty supply and look at all the products they carry! ( professional lines) you have to mess aorund wi th them because it might work great for your friend but bad for u or vise versa!
