Sun in on hair?

i have heard of a spray or what ever it is that u put ( sun in ) on your hair

and u sit in the sun and it makes your hair lighter well if u have black hair and u want to have light brown can u put (sun in) on your hair and also is it permanat and if yes how do u use it please help thanks xx

That stuff will turn your hair orange espically for black hair, it doesn't have the strength to lighten it the way you are wanting it anway, you need to go to a beauty supply such as sally's and ask them what lighting treatment you need for your hair or go to a salon, by the way keep in mind that any type of peroxide is permanet, good luck!!

First of all, sun in does work but it's horrible on your hair. You have to do some mega conditioning to get your hair better. Second, it will make black hair turn orange like.

NO ....it is peroxide and water plus a few extras...if you want possible orange hair, sure go for it..it is damaging and makes your hair feel like straw...plus after you will have to do "touch-ups"...it grows out like regular color...

Yes it works but you have to use a ton of it for your but you have other ways like using lemon juice and stay in the sun longer will help lighten your hair too.

lol..this reminds me of when i wondered about sun in, and used it...hehe...i also have black hair. yes you do sit in the sun, but you can also use the heat from your hairdryer....i ended up having about 4 different colors in my hair for whatever reason. it was ok , but definately wasn't the best.. maybe ok for a teenager to maybe try, thats when i did it , it just looked like i had streaks all thru out my hair, but as an adult, probably would look like a bad dye job, probably easier and safer to go to a salon. it also took monthes to come out

Do not use it! I used it a couple years ago when I was about 13 and I have dark brown hair and it did lighten it up quite a bit, but it sucks! My hair became dry and brittle and then my color began to grow back so my hair was half blonde half dark brown.
