Okay, crazy hair. any suggestions?

Okay well i used to straight hair, but it had major frizz, so i straightened it only to get rid of the frizz, not to get straight hair. Now ive noticed that i have waves in my hair and they are really cute, but i still have the frizz and the only way so far to get rid of the MAJOR frizz i have is to straighten it. any shampoos, conditioners, spray, anything that works for you to get rid of the frizz but keep the cute waves

Okay, crazy hair. any suggestions?

i think it might just be easier to go bald

Huge knot in my hair! How to get it out?!?

I need to get this knot out of my hair!! I've been sick for the past couple of days and I wasn't brushing my hair. I don't have time to get detangler at the store. I have a comb, brushes, water in a spray bottle, and like a tiny bit of leave in conditionor spray. (should I add water to it?) I have like a half hour and can't take a shower. PLEASE HELP

Huge knot in my hair! How to get it out?!?

lightly brush it out. It may take a while but you have to keep working at it. Its best if you brush it while your hair is wet with conditioner in it because it makes it easier to go through.

But if you don't get that to work...then your last resort may be to just cut it.

But try the brush thing. It works for me and i have really long hair.

Happens to me quite often.

Hope this helps

Huge knot in my hair! How to get it out?!?

get a wide tooth comb, and work the knot out from the bottom.

Huge knot in my hair! How to get it out?!?

I agree with T, get it wet with conditioner and brush from the bottom working your way up to the top of your head and that should get it out, it might hurt though!!

Huge knot in my hair! How to get it out?!?

You might try dabbing some oil on it and then trying to comb through........

Huge knot in my hair! How to get it out?!?

you could try to put mayo on it then slowly untangle it with a comb ( make sure to wash it out all the way ) hope it helps !

Unruly coarse hispanic hair?

hell guys im alex im hispanic i have coarse crazy hair im screwed. well today i visited the pantene site and took the product perscription test. i have been reccomend to use the extra straight shampoo and conditioner targeted for hispanics. and also have been reccomended to use there protect spray, silk cream, frizz serum, gelturn back time deep conditoner, hydrating rinse and hairspray to achieve my style. i just want to know everyones opinio on there products espically hispanics who have tried this line to see what its all about. now rember i have unruly hispanic hair but when its tamed its gorgeous and thers no hair like a hispanics thats in well condition. well i hope you are all able to help my hair.

Unruly coarse hispanic hair?

Im half english/latin and my hair when long can go straight up. but when i used a straightening iron/flat iron and had it cut right it was alright. also it had to have some gel dried on before straightening to keep it that way. but i use pantene sham/cond daily and it doesnt do a damn thing. it was 14 for both. i use tressame mouse or pantene clear gel / tresseme hairspray and at best my hair when short looks alright. then again i have always done my own hair . saved thousands ;)

Unruly coarse hispanic hair?

pantene is a pretty good brand..... in general

you could just get it cut.. what about getting it relaxed

Unruly coarse hispanic hair?

Of course Pantene wants you to use a ton of their products - mo $ for them! According to my dad %26amp; bro, also of the crazy coarse thick hispanic hair, a good haircut is the most important thing. Dad uses no product at all, little bro uses cheap shampoo, one expensive salon conditioner (heavy moisturizing), and an anti-frizz gel. They are both pretty handsome guys with awesome hair.

Unruly coarse hispanic hair?

HoW BouT Garnier Fructis Leave-In Conditioner? Im hispanic too (Wepa! :) and i have semi-curly hair...and this has worked for me....its better than gel since it wont dry out your hair, but it still controls it. U should try TreSemme for shampoo and conditioner...it really makes ur hair nice n smooth. Anyhow...good luck !

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

My hair is naturally really poofy and sort of frizzy. I straighten my hair everyday. Whenever I go down the beach, and am out on the boardwalk at night... my hair tends to go POOF. It gets just as bad as if I hadn't straightened it. Hairspray and straightening spray doesn't work for me. Does anyone know of any products that will keep my hair straight when it's really hgumid out?

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

try Silk Therapy by BioSilk.

It keeps the frizz and fly aways -- down... and makes your hair smell so pretty and silky!!

With this product a little goes a long way..It's the best I love it!!

A little pricy but definately worth evey cent.

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

you can use hair silker. you can find it at walmart!

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

put gel

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

I live in Houston and its extremely humid here. I use ION gel styling mist. It won't weigh your hair down and can be used on all hair types!!

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

HAT

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

PONY TAIL...........OR GEL NOT SPRAYOR MOUSE

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

use frizz ease, its at walmart

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

try shampoos and conditioners made to clense it. striaghtening only prtects the hair if the air around it isnt humid or moister-filled.

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

Apply a little conditioner to dry hair.

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

Wax. I have the same issue... I usually tie my hair in a tight bun if it looks like it's gonna be one of those days.

You should not have to flatiron every day. I think you are doing something wrong... I flatiron my hair and put the wax-based stuff in it, and it stays straight for about 3 or 4 days. My hair is nearly "afro-curly" in its natural state, so I know you can do what you want.

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

well i have the same prob i wear my hair in a pony tail and i still have frizzys so i put g2b glued in it to.

How can I keep my hair "not poofy" when I go down the beach?

USE MOUSE BEFORE YOU SPRAY IT AND THAT WILL KEEP IT TOGETHER

Why is my hair straightener starting to make my hair stink?

I received my hair straightener for Christmas.

It's a Jilbere de Paris 鑱禢ano Silver.

It never made my hair smell like this before... it's really gross smelling, I don't know how to describe it.

I also use flat iron protection spray,

Anyways, I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not... but before it did this, I used it on my friend (I used it probably last week) who had REALLY bad smelling, thick hair. The next day I used it on me it had the gross smell. lol

Anyone know why??

But serious answers only please! =]

Why is my hair straightener starting to make my hair stink?

um well a lot of the times it can be burning the hair... I've burned my hair before on my straightener and the smell stayed in for a few days-a weekish? Or hair may have got caught in the straightener. Needless to say your friends hair burned (im assuming) and i would think it should go back to normal sometime soon. Hope i helped =)

Why is my hair straightener starting to make my hair stink?

ur burning it!

Why is my hair straightener starting to make my hair stink?

Get a new one! That is NOT normal!

Why is my hair straightener starting to make my hair stink?

It's probably the burnt heat protectant spray mixed with your hair oils.

You need to clean your flat iron, I know it sounds ridiculous but it is actually a necessity and that way your iron will last longer and serve you better while giving you better results in your hairstyles.

Why is my hair straightener starting to make my hair stink?

You are obviously burning your hair because it it too hot!

=)

Why is my hair straightener starting to make my hair stink?

My sister uses a Jilbere iron, and hers smells as she's ironing as well...I think it has something to do with the plates being really dirty and all the extra products burning and such. I'd try cleaning it, and then if that doesn't work, it's probably time to buy a new iron. =)

Why is my hair straightener starting to make my hair stink?

Perhaps you placed the goo in your friends hair and back into the goo for more and ... Try taking off the top layer of the goo and throw it out. Shampoo your hair real good and give it one more try. If it still smells bad throw it away.

Why is my hair straightener starting to make my hair stink?

It might be because your straighteners plates are dirty you should try cleaning it with a cloth and just a little rubbing alchol...or it might also be because your burning your hair :/ well i hope your resolve your hair problem :]

SCRUNCHING hair help! please help asap@?

your hair will not scrunch properly or even at all unless it has some sort of natural movement.I use a diffuser to scrunch mine as well as some product.

wash your hair and dry excess dampness from it,

apply product, gels, mousses and/or gelmousse work best,

comb through product to reduce frizz,

to use a diffuser you need to dry hair in sections in a zig-zag movement from ends to scalp.

if you want real volume turn your head upside down and scrunch.

If you have naturally curly hair do not dry with your fingers as it will have a tendency to frizz more.

oh, hair spray is only a finishing product it will not aid the scrunching process just seal the end result.

Any tips on what to do with my hair?

i hate my hair so much. I wear a du-rag so it would stay down, if i didnt it would stay spiky all the time. Even if i put gel or spray it always ends up spiking back up it pisses me off. my hair is as long as my friends but his hair is always stayin down and he doesnt even use gel. i dont wanna cut it short again cause then im always wasting money to get it cut because it grows very quick. Any ideas on what to do with it?

Any tips on what to do with my hair?

Theres nothing wrong with spikey hair! Try leavin it like that for a week, and see what happens.

Any tips on what to do with my hair?

cut it and make it spikey on top.

Any tips on what to do with my hair?

Try putting a leave-in cream or wax to weigh it down a bit. Also, try shampooing your hair at night. Allow it to dry up to about 80% and put on the durag and sleep in it. It might flatten your hair by the next morning. If nothing really works, but yourself a shaver and trim your hair yourself, it won't be as costly as going to the hairdresser's every month!

I was never really able to use anything other than a strong mousse to keep my frizz at bay, but I've found that using the Herbal Essences "Hello Hydration" shampoo and conditioner, then using a combination of Herbal Essences "Break's Over" leave-in conditioner plus the SunSilk helps my curls stay soft WITHOUT the disgusting frizz. Though, if I do have a problem with frizz and use mousse, the kind I prefer is buy SAMY. I get it at Target.. though the herbal essences mousse for curls works great, too.

But yeah - until I'd tried those products I never bought the same stuff twice. Now it's all I buy :)

Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner. Yes, it's really horse shampoo, but it works really well to keep hair hydrated and well-conditioned. You can find it in with the pet shampoos at Wal-mart, or at a ranch/farm type supply store. Curly hair tends to be more fragile, the curls make it a weaker structure, so keeping a good conditioner on it is important to keep it from breaking.

Messy hair no matter what?! HELP!?

I have shoulder length hair but no matter what i do my middle of the day they end up looking really messy like this morning i washed them using head and shoulders volume (or whichever one that is for volume), combed them, blow dried them, and they looked fine but i have bangs and i dont want bangs anymore so i put spray in them the LaCoupe Volume hairspray but when i looked at myself in teh mirror around 2pm my hair were in horrible state.. why? do i need to comb them more often threw out the day? or WHAT please help, i want my hair to look like this:

http://www.priyankachopra.org/gallery/al...

even if it needs combing 20 times a day lol

Messy hair no matter what?! HELP!?

i find it is easiest to use a clip and put it up - may have to do this a couple of times a day - or wear a really high pony tail and let part of your hair be down.

i usually wear my clip high as i do my pony tail.

Messy hair no matter what?! HELP!?

I don't know what to tell you except brush it often. I have layers and my hair always gets messy. It's straight but I blow dry the ends under so its smooth, but it doesn't stay no matter what products I use. Brush often and do your best. Wear it up if you get really annoyed.

Messy hair no matter what?! HELP!?

try straighting it with a straighting iron. It works wonders on my wavy hair and it stays.

Hope this helps

Messy hair no matter what?! HELP!?

Hi,

You have got to change ur shampoo brand lst!

R u aware that head n shoulders works well for anti-dandruff problem BUT it makes ur hair rough! I learn this a few years bk from one of my hairstylist fren.

Maybe u want to change to pantene or sunsilk shampoo n condition to make ur hair softer and more manageable.

Pls dun use too much spray as it tend to harden up hair after a while and its not good on scalps for everyday use.

Use lil babyoil to massage and comb to desired style. With the help of clips am sure all the above tips would have been useful to u!

Good luck!

Bad for your hair??

This summer

ive dun alot of the wet look.

Where i get it wet with like a salt water spray.

And tthen i put mousse in it. is this ad for my hair??

Should i cut down on it, do somethig different???

Bad for your hair??

No, it won't harm your hair. Just make sure you use a deep-cleaning shampoo to get all of the salt water out (Try: Herbal Essences Drama Clean Shampoo and Conditioner!). If your hair isn't washed out thouroughly it can cause bulk. Best of luck!

Bad for your hair??

nahh it wont hurt your hair, maybe dry it out i tiny bit but its not bad

Bad for your hair??

no, it is actually really good for your hair. the less you blow dry and straighten it, the healthier it is. just make sure that you use a clarifying shampoo and a deep conditioner like three times a week.

More Volume for hair?

I tried back combing and spray but that makes me head look poofy as i have shoulder length hair.

More Volume for hair?

Hi Chloe - here are a couple of good websites for just what we're talking about:

www.beauty.ivillage.com/hair/hairtrend...

www.pg.com/science/haircare/hair_twh_1...

www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip343.htm

Also, if you hold your head so your hair hangs down while drying it, just put a little spray on the underside and that will help, too. If towel-drying your hair, don't rub it dry; just scrunch the towel in different areas (this is if you have some natural curl).

More Volume for hair?

blow dry upside down.

More Volume for hair?

Try Pantene Voluming shampoo %26amp; conditioner.

More Volume for hair?

put a volumizer in your hair like moose of gel an blow dry it

More Volume for hair?

I have straight, shoulder length hair and the same problem - always trying to get volume! I put some straightening cream in my hair after washing (just to make it look smoother) and then I blow dry it upside down....and recently I've discovered if I squirt a bit of hair spray on my roots while tipped upside down, then let it dry, flip it up and brush it out lightly - it looks a lot bouncier without looking too poofy.

More Volume for hair?

There are hair care products specifically geared towarded volumizing your hair. You want to use volumizing shampoos and light conditioners. Adding a few layers in your hair can also help boost the volume. There are also some hair care products to help lift the roots of your hair...some recommended brands:

Pantene Volumizing Root Lifter Spray Gel

Matrix Amplify Root Lifter

FX Special Effects Root Lifter Volume Booster %26amp; Root Stimulating Serum

Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost Root Lifter

Paul Mitchell Volume Spray

there are so many out there!

Also as another person answered, blow-drying upside down while scrunching your roots can also help!

More Volume for hair?

take some moose and rub it in really good. then after maybe 5 min. spash some water on it not a whole lot though and then blow dry it really good and spray some hair spray in it

Straight Hair...Need Some Waves?

What do you think about using a scrunching gel, mouse, or spray? Or what else could I do to get a little wave in my hair?

Straight Hair...Need Some Waves?

You should French braid your hair (or get someone else to) and sleep on it, then let it out loose in the morning. It can be a tight braid for tight ringlets or casual and messed-up for natural looking waves. Or, if your hair needs products to hold, use a scrunching gel when your hair is damp. Throw it into a bun then take it out in the morning, but that look doesn't look as natural.

Straight Hair...Need Some Waves?

they have wave greases you should try it

Straight Hair...Need Some Waves?

Braid it right after a shower while it's still wet and in the morning, undo your braids and spary some hairspray and some mousse for some volume and shape and you're good to go. :]

Straight Hair...Need Some Waves?

Ok, this works GREAT! At night before you go to bed, take a shower and while your hair is still pretty wet/ damp scrunch it with moose/gel. then tie it up in a tight bun. then in the morning just add a lil hairspray and you'll have really pretty waves =]

Snarled hair, ahk help!?

Man! I have HUGE rats nests in the bottom layers of my hair-- the hair on top and in the front, glossy, healthy shiny perfect and underneath snarl city! HELP! I've tried Aussie taming milk, and Johnson's Detangler spray so far.... has NOT helped-- I usually put conditioner in and then wide tooth comb it out in the shower.... these are NASTY snarls and are breaking the teeth in my comb! I desperately don't want to end up chopping my hair off as my wedding is in September!!! So SOMEONE tell me you know what to do for nasty knots !!! THANKS!

Snarled hair, ahk help!?

First of all, pin up the hair that's really pretty and nice.

Use Pantine Pro-V conditioner and condition the heck out of the bottom portion. Don't use a brush. Keep trying to run your fingers through it without scrunching it around. Keep working the conditioner in. Let it set for awhile (2-5 minutes) and then try to work your fingers through again. Wash. Repeat about two or three times. Then use some hair oil and work it through the roots (just a tiny bit!). Sleep. The next day, casually put your hair up. Try not to move it around very much. Repeat the whole conditioning thing and you should have most of it undone by then.

I'm a dancer and I constantly have weird things done to my hair (huge junks of hair spray, extreme teasing, tangling, curling, crimping, heating the life out of it, etc.). This always works when the worst comes to it. Try it.

I never use a comb with the conditioner. It never works. Using fingers and continually working it in and smoothing it down at the same time works the best.

Snarled hair, ahk help!?

my hair was like to the middle of my back or longer and it would get very snarley... but i just used a paddle brush and leave in conditioner and kinda yanked my head off lol... but i got like 2/3 inches cut off and it doesn't get nearly as bad any more...

Is elmer's glue really bad for my hair?

iv been using GOT2B gel and GOT2B freeze spray for my spikes, but it has now come to a point where it cant support my spikes anymore! i hang upside down, i spray it upside down, and i dry it upside down, so i then heard that you can use elmer's glue to spike up your hair, but does the glue do anything bad to your hair? and if it does then what are the bad things it does? and if i shouldnt use glue anyone got any tips on how to spike my hair? (and no i will NOT cut my hair)

Is elmer's glue really bad for my hair?

My boyfriend and his friends used to use elmers glue in their hair. It worked better than gel and the spikes stay up really well even if they're long....they used to hit each other in the head with balloons and pop them on the spikes that's how well it worked. It didn't do any damage to any of their hair that I knew of, they even used it on died hair and it didn't take the color out or anything. Glue is non-toxic...kids eat it all the time, if it doesn't kill you it probably doesn't do anything bad to your hair :P and it's washable too so I think you're safe as long as you use regular elmers white glue(or the glitter stuff is cool too) but stay away from super glue or wood glue or gorilla glue

Is elmer's glue really bad for my hair?

I think so. It was not made for hair.

Is elmer's glue really bad for my hair?

Yes, you can use it in your hair. As long as it it washable it will never damage your hair at all. :)

Is elmer's glue really bad for my hair?

Yes....Elmer's Glue is bad for your hair. If you want to spike your hair but still keep it long try Knox. It's clear gelatin used to make desserts. My friend used to use it on his mohawk...it really does work. Follow the instructions on the pack for gelatin.

Curly hair!!! can you help me??????

Curly hair!!! can you help me??????

I know the feeling, as I also have really curly hair which drives me nuts!. I use the John Frieda Frizz Ease range which is great, especially the serum. Don't take any notice of the instructions which say use a few drops, you need far more than that, but it does work really well.

Curly hair!!! can you help me??????

soooo serious

plus i don't get you question....

Curly hair!!! can you help me??????

hairspray duh

Curly hair!!! can you help me??????

try straighting it

Curly hair!!! can you help me??????

nothing will help.... just embrace your curls!!!!!

Curly hair!!! can you help me??????

i'm not sure how old you are, but maybe you should just go with the curls. you want to do a deep conditioner once a month or so, depending on how curly it is.

Curly hair!!! can you help me??????

I have EXTREMELY curly hair. The only way I have any control over it is to do this: make sure to use a really good conditioner first. It makes all the difference. Then, when you get out of the shower, just barely pat your hair with a towel. Next, run your fingers through it to get out tangles, etc. If you can, use Frizz Ease daily nourishment leave-in fortifying spray. Then use (any kind you prefer) hair gel. Let your hair air-dry a bit (not all the way) and then use a bit of mousse (once again, whatever kind you prefer). It seems like a lot of product, but it only takes a few minutes, and no heat or other damaging straightening involved.

Curly hair!!! can you help me??????

try putting on those bands on your hair...or if your not into bands try putting on some John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum (if the frizzyness is your problem) that works wonders on my hair!!!

How do i control my frizzy hair?

when i wash my hair and i let it air dry it becmes really frizzy..so after it air drys then i straighten it. after i straighten my hair it tends to be poofy still but straight and silky even if i put on frzz control spray or something..after lik a day it becomes straight and none frizzy when i straighten it. everyday when im getting ready for school i sometimes tie my hair up because straighting takes to long but i always have to straighten my bangs cuz it goes all crazy. i was thinking of going to the hiar dressers and letting them thin my hair because i alredy have layers but my hiar is still poofy. when i straighten it...its not poofy anymore but i want to leave my hiar natural sometimes and i cant do it cause of how poofy it gets...does anybody have any tips on how to keep it none poofy with simple products lik shampoo or conditioner and what else should i do with my hair so i dont got to straighten it all the time?

Have a go!

How do i control my frizzy hair?

take laundry freshener sheets and rub them on your hair

How do i control my frizzy hair?

I would just use a detangling comb after letting ur hair dry naturally, it works for me.

The AVON comb from the catologue works well.

How do i control my frizzy hair?

you should use frizz ease by john frieda w/e. the finishing creme works really well for me.

:)

How do i control my frizzy hair?

Your hair is probably extremely dry from all the styling, so it is making your already frizzy hair even more so. Try the john frieda Frizz ease range, it works really well (even the shampoo and conditioners)

While your hair is still wet, you can try putting mousse in and working through your hair with you fingers, then just let it dry naturally, this will help with the frizz.

Good Luck!

How do i control my frizzy hair?

try using a wax based conditioner, esp. one that you leave in for a while before washing out. If that dosent work its probably because your hair is lacking nutrients so buy a hair pack and try that.

Good luck!

How do i control my frizzy hair?

How do i control my frizzy hair?

~Aussie Hair Miracle (Try a free sample at www.aussiehair.com)

~Also, use L'Oreal Elvive Anti-Frizz Shampoo, I use it too and it gives my hair a very sleek look after blow drying...

~Also try L'Oreal Hot Studio (Hot Straight) with a hair straightening iron

How do i control my frizzy hair?

I have the same problem! and my hair is worse because it actually curls into a frizzy texture underneath when the top is straight.

but here are some tips

1. do you take a shower in the morning or at night? my hair frizzes up if it gets wet during the day. it is a lot more managable if you take a shower right before going to bed and comb it out.

2. use ant anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner every day. I use suave sleek for frizzy or dry hair.

it makes it a lot straighter

3. use an anti frizz cream before you go to bed. i use sunsilk d-frizz

4. in the morning straighten your hair in three inch sections, starting from the top to the bottom. you can flip the bottom or pull the bottom of the layers back so th rest on the others to make it look like it has more body but not poofy.

5. after straightening use garneir fructis smoothing milk. it makes it A LOT smoother and garneir fructis sleek and shine anti-frizz serum. it makes it A LOT shinier

they are my favorite products

i know this seem like a lot but i do this every day and it goes from super poofy and frizzy to super straight soft shiny and cute

good luck!

this method is for people that have this problem really bad! if it is just a little frizzy just use an anti-frizz cream. but just a frizz cream really isn't gonna help if it is really bad

How do i control my frizzy hair?

WIth curly hair like your layers and thinning will only make it go more curly. Keeps layers long and heavy to pull curls down. I would suggest you use a straightening gel and serum from an afro hair store and good straightners like GHD. I know there are alot of straightners on the market that claim to be as good but having sued them I have to say that it is worth paying the extra for GHD. You can get hair chemically straightened at the salon. There are many new updated products on the market that will not dry our your hair.

How do i control my frizzy hair?

well straightening it makes it worse, especially if you haven't gotten a cut in awhile. take a shower and wash your hair right before you go to bed, then comb your hair out.blow-dry it down the hair shafts to make it lay flat er,and try spritzing hair spray on a brush or comb, then comb through your hair.and maybe every few months your should get your hair thinned.i had the exact same problem but i did this and now i have beautiful silky hair!

How do i control my frizzy hair?

The absolute best is SILK DROPS from FX Special Effects. You can get it at any Walgreens, CVS, etc. You'll love it!

How do i control my frizzy hair?

hair sirim alwayssss works or me.. 2 much makes ur hair greasy so be careful. avon sells a wide range of hair sirims for different types of hair its worth a look

How do i control my frizzy hair?

You should probably get a hot oil treatment or make your own natural one.

http://styles101.homestead.com/nathairre...

http://recipes.robbiehaf.com/SkinBodyPro...

http://www.coolnurse.com/hair_recipes.ht...

some good hot oil treatments to get at the store are tresemme hot oil or vo5 hot shower works.(they both heat up by themselves.)

Instead of letting your hair air dry , you should wait until it is 60-70% dry and then blow dry your hair with a diffuser. Put gel in your hair before you blow dry. When you are blow drying your hair, use a paddle brush, and clip up the rest of your hair. Make sure you pull taut on the hair with the brush and then your hair will be pin straight and you wont even need a straightener. Use only low to medium heat and low to medium speed or your hair will be fried. After your hair is 100% dry, put in a dime sized amount of creme in your hair for extra smoothness.

Check out the straight look video.

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

Hi, I have a Sally's Store in the town I live in, but the thing is they sell that many products for the hair how do you know which one is good to use. I keep wanting to go in an purchase something for my hair but as its quite exepensive I dont want to buy something and it not be good for my hair as its a waste of money. I was recommeded buy a hairdresser to get some heat protection spray from there, So I thought Id have alook at the shampoos and conditioners and I didnt know where to start.

Does anyone else shop there and which do you recommend are their best products.

Thanks

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

I bought a heat protection spray from my local Sally's. It was the best one I have ever used, hang on while i look up what it was called. I have used tons of different protector sprays, this is the only one which made my hair slightly oily, so had to be used sparingly, but much better than any others. I will get back to you with the name asap.

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

One great product that they have at Sally's is Motions, it's in a yellow and purple bottle, they have all types of products. It's wonderful.

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

different hair products are produced to bring certain results.

For damaged/dry hair I use Aussie 3-minute miracle. There are others that work on the same premise and even further: leave in conditioners.

for braids- beeswax or a high 3 gel settings

There are so many reasons for what you would want that I can't explain everything here. Sometimes there are samples for you try so you don't have to buy the full container.

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

My sister is a hairdresser and she says that that place is to expensive you are better off going to a hairdresser and getting some advice and buy it from them. Then you know your gettin the right product.

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

Look at Loreal's Nature's Therapy treatment mask for hair. It is GREAT!

Sally's Hair and Beauty Store ? Hairdressers who shop there / anyone who shops there?

I bought a heat protection spray from Sally's but it left my hair greasy, you should try GHD iron oil, you only need a little and it lasts for ages.

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

I tried eveything to make it curly. It only turns curly when i do it with the curling iron. i wish i had my cousing hair. if you brush it hair and leave it to dry is becomes straight. if you come out of the shower and its curly. just add spray and it stays curly the whole day. Is there another way to make my hair curly.

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

get a perm, you just cant wash your hair

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

i'm there with you, just braid it, it stays for an ok while, but what's wrong with straight hair, it's not that bad

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

I have the complete opposite problem lol.

But just get a perm.

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

Have you tried hair rollars?

Buy mousse and before you curl your hair put plenty of it on that way the curls will stay.. Try IT!

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

I have the opposite problem also lol. But i have a friend with the same problem. I invited her over and me and 5 of my other friends put her hair in "Jelly Rollers" by Conair. It worked perfectly! They heat up and then you leave them in until they curl. Put some hair spray on it and it should work.

Also, my mom has the Conair Turbo-heat curlig iron. It works really well.

Hope this helps!! 閳绢櫑udrina

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

Boy,i wish i was you,i love straight hair, anyways go to a salon and get a perm that will last for whatever time you want it to(tell them how long you want it to last) And you CAN wash your hair when you have a perm just dont straighten your hair while you have a perm and dont use a straightening hair shampoo, and use a mousse or hairspray with it.You can also try hot rollers or gelly rollers.

Good luck!!^_^

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

Getting layers cut into your hair will make it scrunch and get curly, FOR MOST PEOPLE! Some people just don't have versitile hair. That would leave a perm as your only choice. Good luck!

I have super straight hair and I hate it!?

step 1: wash your hair

step 2: put mousse and/or gel in your hair while its a bit wet

step 3: brush your hair

step 4: make 4 or more braids w/ your hair

step 5: sleep

step 6: when you wake up in the morning, take out your braids

you will get really wavy hair .....GOOD LUCK

Easy 10 point question about hair?

i have side bangs, and they always get weird and puffy in the morning, so there is no way i can wear it like that without looking retarded, so i have to pull it in the bang puff thing where you pull your bangs straignt back. that takes FOREVER for me to get right! how can i get my bangs to look soft and normal, and not puffy and weird when i wake up in the morning? i and by the way, i take showers around 10 to 11 pm, and wake up around 6. and i don't blow dry my hair. is that a problem? thank you!! i have leave in conditioner, detangling spray, hairspray, clips and everything... tell me what would help? thankyou!

Easy 10 point question about hair?

try putting leave in conditioner as soon as you wake up that way it makes your hair sorta wet and limp. then it should dry by the time that you get to school

Easy 10 point question about hair?

sounds like the best solution for you is a different cut talk to your stylist and find one that works for you

Easy 10 point question about hair?

i usually have a ton of trouble with my bangs too. what i do is after i take a shower at night i use a circle brush and blow dry my whole head plus my bangs. then i only straighten it a little, or i straighten it a lot if im planning on wearing my hair down the next day. but i alwayss straighten my bangs before i go to bed. then i dont really have to worry about them the next morning because they are fine. you just finish it off by just straightening the ends of the bangs but you dont always have to..it depends on what kind of sleeper you are i guess..lol if you move around a lot you might have to straighten it, if you dont move then you probably dont have to.

Easy 10 point question about hair?

If you can, start taking your showers earlier and keep letting your hair air dry. Sleeping with your hair wet makes it poofy and frizzy. That should help alot. =)

Easy 10 point question about hair?

sraightner ouwld help! And it would also help if you took a shower in the morning, bow dired you hair/bangs, and then straigtened them. I get up at 5:30 to take a shower!

Easy 10 point question about hair?

maybe just dampen them and take a small round brush and brush them while blow drying and if you need to you can straighten them. make sure before you aply any heat to your hair to put a heat protection spray so your hair doesn't get fried.

good luck :D

Easy 10 point question about hair?

try a straightener. it might smooth out your bangs and only takes a few minutes. you dont even need an expensive one. i use the 15 dollar one from wal mart and it works...and i have riduclously curly hair!

Easy 10 point question about hair?

you should blow dry it and if it doesnt work you should get some flat irons and flat iron it out

Easy 10 point question about hair?

I have naturally wavy hair and my bangs get totally tweeked in the morning. I straiten them with a curling iron. Try this and spritz them with hair spray.

Easy 10 point question about hair?

I have side bangs too and i take a shower and wake up around the same time as you. what i do is i do the back of my hair like if if i want a pony tail then i'll do it but leave the bangs out. then wet your bangs (with water ) then take a circular brush and blow out the bangs. its takes literally 2 minutes and they come out cute. then if you want you can flat iron them. ( it makes them stay straight longer)

Easy 10 point question about hair?

I always put a big velcro roller in my bangs in the morning. You can get them at CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid or wherever. You can still do everything that you do the same except in the morning roll your bangs under (towards your face) into a large velcro roller and leave it in while you get ready in the morning. To make it work even better put your blowdryer on it for a minute. It's a fast way to get your bangs looking normal and with volume, not like you slept all night on them!

Easy 10 point question about hair?

when you get up in the morning just wet your bangs and let them dry, the reason they get like this is because you move around when you sleep so they get all messed up and then dry like that, so i suggest that when you are doing your hair just wet them and if you have a straightener then use it once your hair is dry if not place them how you want them when there wet with a bobby pin, take it out when your hair is half dry then style it the way you want and spray it with hairspray this should work it helped when i had annoying bangs :]

Easy 10 point question about hair?

garnier fructis surf hair just use a lil at first to see if they stick...and if they do use a little bit more and then a soft bristle brush; brush it straight up and they either lay it down like the little bump thing or just lay it down on the side of ur face k! kisses

Question about Jhonson's Detangler spray??

Is it non-toxic (I'm assuming it is bc its for toddlers and kids)... I'm wondering because my 22 month old daughter just sprayed it in her mouth.... just one spray but she started wiping her tongue with her hand... I gave her some milk to drink. You think she will be allright?

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

My blonde hair keeps getting darker, especially in the winter, so I was thinking of using some lemon juice, but how dilluted should it be? Do I put some lemon juice and water in a spray bottle spray it on and thats it? Will it severely dry out my hair or make the colors uneven?

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

u dont dilute it ( =

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

don't use lemon juice! consult a hair specialist or research it!

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

I'd also have to go with not using lemon juice on your hair. It will dry it out majorly. If you insist on using it, compensate by using a deep conditioner (Like Aussie's 3 minute miracle, or the like) up to three times a week.

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

my mom used to do this and she would just take an actual lemon and squeeze it in her hair. I don't think the lemon juice needs to be diluted at all... just as much as a plain lemon would be.

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

Try using your lemon juice concoction on just little bit of your hair first, so you get an idea what's going to happen before you put it on all of your hair.

Chamomile tea is supposed to be good for bringing out highlights in blonde hair, too. Good luck :)

How dilluted should lemon juice be if you're using it to highlight blonde hair?

It's just going to dry out your hair and make it horrible and straw like (I did it years ago). If you've got blonde hair anyway, just go to Woolies and buy some L'Oreal or whatever brand of hair colour! It's simple and only around $11. Choose a shade a bit lighter than your own and make sure you do the strand test first if you haven't used it before. You can apply it to sections of your hair, so you don't have to colour your full head.

Or just go to a hairdresser and get half a head of foils.

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

I don't have split ends on the bottom of my hair. Just the top of my head/hair is frizzy. I've tried various sprays and shampoos, but nothing works.

How do I fix the frizzyness of my hair?

Enjoy life when you can!

For Frizzy hair.. these ussually work really good.. and i have some more tips at the bottom.. which are great for healthy hair... so good luck!

- Anything from the brand FrizzEase works preety awesome. So does Infusium 23 shampoos.

*Hair still frizzy? Take a curling iron to the top layers. It will only take a second, and the heat will zap the frizz out.

*1 advacado, and 1 tsp. Olive Oil. Mash the advacado, and add the olive oil. Mix. massage into hair, leave in for 20 minutes. Wash hair as you normally would. You can double this 'recipe' if your hair is exceptionally thick or long.

* Mayonnaise. Yeah, sounds pretty gross.. But it will make your hair smooth and soft. Apply it to hair, leave it in for 10-15 minutes Rinse out, wash hair as you normally would.

Take good care of your hair! It will add to your charm - who can resist a person with lovely, silky hair? So do try out the above tips! Hope these littles tips have been useful! :)

Tips To Stop Hair Loss %26amp; Keep Healthy Hair Here are some hair care tips that you can use to help stop hair loss and keep your existing hair healthy and looking great. Please don't take these tips lightly. They are very important . The only thing they require is your time and commitment.

- Massage your scalp with your fingertips (not your nails) daily to stimulate and promote circulation to your scalp and reduce excess fallout. Invert your head while you shampoo %26amp; massage your scalp. This helps promote blood circulation to the head.

- Essential oils %26amp; tea . To stimulate scalp circulation, massage the scalp with rosemary essential oil or rinse hair with tea made from sage.

- Comb or brush your hair and scalp gently in the morning and at night. This helps break up hardened oils (sebum) that are clogging your hair follicles. Doing this alone has produced new hair growth. Do not over do combing or brushing.

- keep a distance from dryer's heat. When using blow dryers, always keep the heat a good distance from your scalp and hair. Avoid heating the scalp and hair excessively. Excessive heat will increase hair loss, and excess fallout.

- Avoid getting hair creams, lotions, styling gels and sprays directly on the scalp as they will clog your hair follicles. Use a light hold spray if you must.

- After swimming in a pool, shampoo your hair as soon as possible to remove any chlorine residue. Chlorine is extremely damaging to the hair and scalp.

- Avoid over-exposing your hair and scalp to the wind and sun. Good hair care over a long period really makes a difference!

- Avoid tight hats and caps as they contribute to poor circulation, depriving the hair of proper nutrition and stunting new hair growth. The sweat, dirt and grime around the rim inhibit follicle health and contribute to build-up.

- Always consult your health care provider for extreme causes of excess fallout and thinning. A medical condition or medication could be causing hair loss side-effects.

- Strive for balance and harmony in both your personal and professional lifestyle. High stress factors can cause your body to react by fluctuating hormone levels. This in turn causes excessive oil secretion (sebum) which results in hair loss.

- Pregnancy, nursing, menopause, and even birth control medication can cause constant changing factors on your nutritional needs and hormonal levels which contribute to hair loss and excess fallout.

- Avoid "crash and fad" diets. Proper nutritious meals along with vitamin and mineral supplements are a key factor for healthy hair and skin.

- Good hair care starts with awareness. These hair care tips, if followed consistently, will reduce excess fallout, hair loss, and promote new hair growth.

- Reduce hair loss effects by increasing your intake of vitamin C found in fresh fruits and vegetables, particularly citrus fruit and juices, parsley, broccoli, green peppers and black currants. Take a vitamin B complex everyday or brewers yeast. Increase your intake of protein found in meat, fish, liver, wheat germ, dried cooked beans and peas, tofu, cheese, milk and eggs.

- Take dietary supplements such as Vitamin B6, zinc %26amp; saw palmetto. Supplements are useful when you can't get enough from natural food sources.

- The Chinese believe that hair is nourished by the blood, and therefore influenced by the kidney %26amp; liver. Treatment is aimed at these organs using fleece flower root, wolfberry fruit or mulberry fruit.

- Eliminate stress or else it can be disastrous to your precious hair!

- Get enough sleep. Sleeping well is essential for the health of your hair as well as for the rest of your body.

There are ways you can help stop the grease from appearing but you have to work at it.

Do not wash everyday. The cleaner your hair is the more it can seep into your glands and harder it is to get rid of. When you do wash make sure you are washing with a cleaning shampoo and scrubbing the build up off. Take in mind that you also have to have a ph-balanced mild shampoo and lite scrubbing is recommended. Try to avoid conditioner at the roots, apply in the middle or on the ends.

Try to avoid oil in your daily food intake. And do eat more vegetables. You could visit your doctor but only after you check and consider your diet, drugs, alcohol, and your fatty food intake. Let's face it we see what McDonalds can do to your heart in a month, can you image your hair. You would be dripping everywhere.

Maybe it's time to change your shampoo. Ask your stylist what she or he would recommend. Avoid using shine products at all costs. Keep away from two-in-one shampoos and conditioners and any frizz serums.

To fix at the moment, rub a little Talcum Powder on your dried hair at the roots. Just make sure you wash it out. I wish they would event that magic product, but this will help until they do.

Here are 10 tips for to keep your hair strong, smooth, shiny and beautiful!

1. Keep your diet balanced, and eat protein and calcium rich foods. Stay away from junk foods! This is essential for healthy hair.

2. Foods and supplements to nourish your hair:

* Beans

* Yogurt

* Almonds

* Vitamin B

* Fish

* And of course, the magic potion for beauty - WATER

3. Before washing your hair, comb it well to make sure all knots has been loosened from your hair.

4. Before applying shampoo, use warm water (35 to 38 degrees Celsius) to run through your hair to rinse and wet it thoroughly.

5. When applying shampoo or conditioner, don't use your fingernails to scrape through your hair. Instead, use your palm and fingertips to massage your scalp and hair gently, in circular motions. This will help the circulation and also help to keep your hair shiny and smooth.

6. After rinsing away all the shampoo, run water over your hair for at least another half a minute (3 minutes is best) to ensure there are no remains of shampoo remaining in your hair, since this will cause a great deal of damage to your scalp.

7. When applying hair treatment products, do so just after you have washed your hair, so that your hair can absorb all the good stuff while it is half wet. This will be the best time for it to absorb nourishment.

8. NEVER go to bed with your hair wet! Hair that is half wet is most easily broken, and if you sleep during this time, your hair will be rubbing against each other, damaging your hair in the most terrible way.

9. Too much pressure may lead to hair loss! Relax... try some good relaxation methods such as soaking in a nice scented bath, listening to music, and eating healthy comfort foods such as strawberries and grapes.

10. Perming and coloring seriously damages your hair. Avoid it as much as possible. Also, when using hair setting products such as gel or putty, use as little as possible, because they hurt your scalp and hair. Wash them out thoroughly afterwards with a shampoo specially created for removing styling products.

Anti-humidity spray?!?

ok guys so i have this problem.

i straighten my hair every day but its very humid outside so as soon as i step out,

POOF.

can anyone recommend a good anti-humidity spray?

thanks so much!

Anti-humidity spray?!?

I have tried a LOT and the two I really liked was Matrix Smooth and Sleek spray, but right now I am using Sedu moisturizing heat protectant spray with my Sedu straightener and I have amazing results. folica.com sells this spray, and it comes in different types (smooth, moisturizing, volume). The Matrix spray left my hair a bit stiff.. but Sedu really made it touchable and sleek!

Anti-humidity spray?!?

ok im not positive its a humidity spray but its anti frizz and it sooo good and it smells amazing. its also like a shine spray- i lovee it!!!! its called TRESemme anti- frizz smooth shin spray

Anti-humidity spray?!?

Depends where you are what brands are available. But what you're looking for is an anti-humectant spray. I use and love Matrix Sleek Looks #4 - it's called straight lock or something. You spray it on before you iron it and it locks it straight, seriously even the little curls at the base of my neck stay straight.

Anti-humidity spray?!?

This is more of a hair spray than an anti-humidity spray, so don't use a ton of it or your hair will be plastic:

John Frieda's Moisture Barrier Firm-Hold Hairspray

If any moisture gets through your hair then, I'll be shocked, that stuff is like MAGIC.

I put the website under sources so you can see what the bottle looks like incase you go buy yourself some.

Good luck!

Anti-humidity spray?!?

garnier frutis ( i dont no da spelling )
