when i wash my hair and i let it air dry it becmes really frizzy..so after it air drys then i straighten it. after i straighten my hair it tends to be poofy still but straight and silky even if i put on frzz control spray or something..after lik a day it becomes straight and none frizzy when i straighten it. everyday when im getting ready for school i sometimes tie my hair up because straighting takes to long but i always have to straighten my bangs cuz it goes all crazy. i was thinking of going to the hiar dressers and letting them thin my hair because i alredy have layers but my hiar is still poofy. when i straighten it...its not poofy anymore but i want to leave my hiar natural sometimes and i cant do it cause of how poofy it gets...does anybody have any tips on how to keep it none poofy with simple products lik shampoo or conditioner and what else should i do with my hair so i dont got to straighten it all the time?

Your hair is probably extremely dry from all the styling, so it is making your already frizzy hair even more so. Try the john frieda Frizz ease range, it works really well (even the shampoo and conditioners)
While your hair is still wet, you can try putting mousse in and working through your hair with you fingers, then just let it dry naturally, this will help with the frizz.

I have the same problem! and my hair is worse because it actually curls into a frizzy texture underneath when the top is straight.
but here are some tips
1. do you take a shower in the morning or at night? my hair frizzes up if it gets wet during the day. it is a lot more managable if you take a shower right before going to bed and comb it out.
2. use ant anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner every day. I use suave sleek for frizzy or dry hair.
it makes it a lot straighter
3. use an anti frizz cream before you go to bed. i use sunsilk d-frizz
4. in the morning straighten your hair in three inch sections, starting from the top to the bottom. you can flip the bottom or pull the bottom of the layers back so th rest on the others to make it look like it has more body but not poofy.
5. after straightening use garneir fructis smoothing milk. it makes it A LOT smoother and garneir fructis sleek and shine anti-frizz serum. it makes it A LOT shinier

this method is for people that have this problem really bad! if it is just a little frizzy just use an anti-frizz cream. but just a frizz cream really isn't gonna help if it is really bad

WIth curly hair like your layers and thinning will only make it go more curly. Keeps layers long and heavy to pull curls down. I would suggest you use a straightening gel and serum from an afro hair store and good straightners like GHD. I know there are alot of straightners on the market that claim to be as good but having sued them I have to say that it is worth paying the extra for GHD. some good hot oil treatments to get at the store are tresemme hot oil or vo5 hot shower works.(they both heat up by themselves.)
Instead of letting your hair air dry , you should wait until it is 60-70% dry and then blow dry your hair with a diffuser. Put gel in your hair before you blow dry. When you are blow drying your hair, use a paddle brush, and clip up the rest of your hair. Make sure you pull taut on the hair with the brush and then your hair will be pin straight and you wont even need a straightener. Use only low to medium heat and low to medium speed or your hair will be fried. After your hair is 100% dry, put in a dime sized amount of creme in your hair for extra smoothness.
