I have a chi straightener and i use the chi heat protector spray before i straighten it. i also use suave shampoo and conditioner. will my hair still get damaged if i straighten my hair everyday?

Im going to say yes, your hair will still definetly get damaged. My hair is also very curly and i straighten it everyday. The heat protector spray will definetly slow the damaging process but thereis no spray or anything that will stop this process. Your hair will always get damaged from heat but what your already doing to it will lessen the damage. Happy hair days!!!

Mostly like yes, but is very heard to prevent the hair of not getting damage. I don't straighten my hair everyday, I leave it dry naturally because I have a problematic hair scalp and try to take more care and prevent of doing things to damage. I use "Masquetence Kerastase" twice a month to nurture the hair. I heard it does not nurture the hair because the hair is dead but it provides shine and makes it feels good too. If I were you, I would apply a mask once a week as a maintenance care.

heat damages your hair big time ytou shoudn't straighten your hair everyday because your hair can start to fall out.... if you want your hair straight and so your hair doesn't fall out i would highly recommend permently straighting it... you hair won't stay striaght for ever but it's better than loosing your hair... also peremly straighting your hair saves you the time and your hair will stay striaght for about 1 %26amp; a half weeks plus it is good throght showers!

That depends on the area in which you live. If you are in a cold climate like wonderful ol chicago then the cold is to blame. I use a straightner everyday as well with shampoo and conditioner and flat iron protecter for my hair. It was damaged but that is only because I went like six months without a haircut and I had a lot of spilt ends. When I went to the salon they told me to do a deep conditioner like VO5 once every two weeks in winter to protect my hair from breaking.
